ASL Interpreter - School Aide – School-Based | Alhambra, CA
Up to $23/hr | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Use ASL or visual communication methods to support students in the classroom
- Help students stay engaged during lessons, activities, and transitions
- Reinforce instructions and classroom routines
- Assist with hearing aids, FM systems, or other assistive devices
- Support with personal care needs when needed
- Document support and assist with IEP-related notes
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff throughout the day
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree, 48+ college credits, or passing paraeducator exam
- Basic ASL skills or experience supporting Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
- At least 6 months of experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
